  Kevin Chong

  Mr. Kevin Chong joined the Global Stewardship team in September 2020. Kevin is particularly passionate about mentoring the younger generation to become more empathetic and genuine individuals that view the world through multiple lenses. He is actively involved in the planning and implementation of multiple student programming initiatives such as Saints Sprouts, Humans of Saints, the Saints Engage podcast, and outreach with our numerous community partners.

  Catherine Holmen

  Ms. Catherine Holmen came to St. George’s in 2010 working in Outdoor Education and Service Learning.  Since rejoining the team in the fall of 2018, her focus has been on student programming, namely off-site learning, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and curriculum connections through experiential days and service projects.  Currently, she takes the lead on the grade 8 Community Leadership Program, grade 8+9 Experiential Flex Day programming, and co-chairs the Hamper Drive Committee.

  Sarah McLean 

  Head of Global Stewardship / Teacher

  Ms. Sarah McLean came to St. George’s in 2010 and is the Head of Global Stewardship at the Senior School. Sarah supports faculty and students as they establish principles of perspective-seeking, reflection and connection for both personal growth and collaborative work within our community. Sarah believes inclusivity, equity, and justice underpin authentic community engagement work and is keen to move forward with the important work of reconciliation. Sarah is a faculty coach and facilitates a number of our student leadership programs including student government, the Saints Sprouts community garden, the Saints Engage podcast and the Humans of Saints Project.

  Mrs. Pat Pachchigar started at St. George’s in 2013 and is very proud to be part of developing the Global Stewardship curriculum at the Junior School. Throughout the years she has been working alongside teachers, students and the wider Saints community to implement all aspects of Global stewardship such as First People’s Principles, sustainability, service learning, inclusion and diversity. Initiatives include connecting to our local community (visits to Crofton Manor), social responsibility and fundraising as well as parent partnerships (Connect2Inspire).
