For more than 92 years, St. George's School has provided world-class education for thousands of young men. What sets us apart is our community of more than 280 talented faculty and staff united by a common mission: "Building fine young men. One boy at a time."
At St. George’s, you will be challenged, encouraged, and supported to help students find their passions, to pursue excellence in all their endeavours, and to develop character aligned with our Core Values: Empathy, Humility, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience.

And while you deliver the best education to our students, St. George’s compensates you with the best — our salary grid is 8% above the public school grid (on average) in order to attract and retain the best teachers. As an example, a new teacher begins at $60,113 and a tenured teacher with more than 10 years’ experience will earn $92,036 annually. A master’s degree will earn you even more…10% more to be exact.

St. George’s also maintains a competitive (defined-contribution) pension program, with a current employee-employer match of 18%.

If you are committed to boys’ education and thrive in a strong collaborative learning environment, come find out what it’s like to work for a BC Top Employer (11 years running), and view our current job openings to see if there may be a position that is a good fit for your skills and expertise.
