The Application Process

List of 5 items.

  • Step 1 | Submit online application

  • Step 2 | Submit supporting documentation

    Required documents:

    • Final report card from last year.
    • Current report cards (as you receive them)
    • Character Reference Form
      • Our first choice for a referee should be a classroom teacher (current or previous). Our second choice would be a coach, youth group director, cub-leader, or someone who interacts with this child in a social setting. We prefer not to receive references from one-to-one tutors or family friends.
    • Any additional documents as outlined and agreed to in the online application
Please note: only the requested documents will be reviewed in order to maintain consistency and fairness for all applicants. Please do not send additional items such as certificates, photos, or additional reference letters. These items will be discarded.

  • Step 3 | Interviews

After an application has been received, all candidates will receive an email invitation to attend a virtual student interview and parent interview. Our admissions team accommodates interview times across various time zones.

Please email senioradmissions@stgeorges.bc.ca if you are unable to find an appointment that suits your time zone.
  • Step 4 | Complete Testing

    • Write the SSAT at home for residents of Canada or the USA, or take the test at any designated Prometric Test Centre.
    • International applicants (outside of Canada/USA) must write the SSAT at any test location.
    • Early Decision candidates must write the SSAT before December 1, 2024.
    • Regular Decision candidates must write the SSAT before March 1, 2025.
    * Please do not hesitate to register for the SSAT as dates fill up quickly.

    * Late applicants should take the SSAT as soon as possible to avoid further delays with your application. Late applications may have a different process.
  • Step 5 | Admission Decision

    • Boarding decisions are released on a rolling basis throughout the admissions season.
    • Applications submitted prior to December 1, 2024 (Early Decision): will receive a decision by January 2025.
    • Applications submitted prior to February 1, 2025 (Regular Decision): will receive a decision no later than March 2025.

*Please note that while all applications will be considered, preference is given to applicants living 30kms or more away from our campus.
