Learning & Character Building Beyond The Classroom
The strength of St. George’s academic program is matched only by the wide array of activities, sports, and clubs available to students throughout their time here. From ceramics to competitive math, sports and athletics, debate or robotics, the Co-curricular Program is designed so that each student will find opportunities that match their diverse personal interests.
Co-curricular experiences enrich student learning, build character and leadership skills, while encouraging students to discover interests or passions they didn’t know they had. Community building, purpose, and creating a sense of belonging remain at the forefront of our program objectives.

Junior School Co-Curricular Program
The Junior School offers a wide range of co-curricular opportunities designed to support the development of the whole child. Available to students in Grades 1–7, these co‑curriculars span Athletics, Arts, and Amplified Learning opportunities that provide meaningful experiences to extend learning beyond the classroom. Offerings vary from open registration to try-out or application-based programs, allowing students to both explore new interests and pursue areas of passion more deeply.
Through participation, students build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self, while developing important skills such as teamwork, leadership, and commitment. Co-curricular involvement is an integral part of the Junior School experience, helping students discover where they thrive, connect with others, and contribute to the life of the school community in purposeful ways.
After School Care
The Junior School After School Care Program provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for students in Kindergarten through Grade 4. Offered daily from 3:00–5:30 pm when school is in session, the program is designed to support families while providing students with meaningful opportunities for play, exploration, and connection.
Through a combination of play-based learning, project-based activities, outdoor play, and student-led inquiry, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop independence, and build confidence in a relaxed and supportive setting. The program also fosters meaningful cross-grade relationships, giving boys the opportunity to collaborate, create, and connect with peers beyond their classroom communities.
Spaces in the program are limited and are offered based on availability, with priority given to incoming families and our youngest learners. Availability throughout the year is typically dependent on attrition. Senior School Co-Curricular Program
In the Senior School, students choose from a breadth of co-curricular activities and experiences that are as diverse as our student population. Through these opportunities, students stay active, express themselves, learn the value of teamwork, build their confidence, and grow their leadership skills. Whether competitive or recreational, our faculty dedicate time to making these activities a success and build on learning each year.
Each boy is expected to participate in at least two terms of co-curriculars each year. Students are also encouraged to start new clubs based on their unique interests.
