Beat The Beast
The Annual Beat The Beast Indoor Rowing Competition
Beat The Beast is the signature indoor rowing competition of St. George’s Rowing, which in 2026 takes place on Saturday, January 31st. Hundreds of rowers from across BC convene at our Senior School campus to compete in a variety of races. Most athletes compete over the traditional 2,000 m, with coxswains competing over 500m. At the end of the day, there are 2000m team relays.
