From January 21–25th, the Senior School is challenging the School with the Tech Detox Week. During the week, we are going to live without our phones/laptops while at school, with the exception of laptops in the classroom and library for learning purposes. Our students and staff will be asked not to use their phones/laptops in any public places for the week. We will go cold turkey in terms of technology use in our free time. Feel free to continue the challenge at home as we hope to learn how our boys adapt to not using and relying on their phones during the week.
Advisory lessons will continue with a culminating assembly on Friday, February 1st.
The Junior School will also be participating in the challenge, and continuing to have discussions on technology as a tool, not a toy. Students and faculty will be tasked with identifying appropriate technology use both inside and outside the School.
