🎄✨ Winter Pyjama Day | December 11

Take Part In Some Cozy, Festive, Fun!
Parents, help your sons get ready for the coziest school day of the year! On Wednesday, December 11th, all Kindergarten–Grade 7 students are invited to celebrate our traditional Winter Pyjama Day by coming to school dressed in their coziest, cutest, and most festive Winter PJs.

For students in Kindergarten to Grade 4, their winter pyjamas will also serve as their costumes for the much-anticipated Primary Winter Showcase, adding even more charm to an already adorable event!

To join the fun, students can bring $5 to their Homeroom Teacher in the morning. Let’s fill the halls with holiday cheer as the boys show off their favourite winter PJs. Whether it’s snowflake prints, cozy onesies, or classic flannel sets, this cherished tradition is a wonderful way for students to spread holiday joy and contribute to the Hamper Drive.

Mark your calendars, remind your sons to pick out their favourite festive PJs, and help make Wednesday, December 11th a day to remember! 🛌❄️🎉

🐾🎄 Winter Woof-A-Thon | December 13

Why Participate?
The Winter Woof-A-Thon
is the last fundraiser for the Junior School, a chance to have fun, and a great way to teach your sons the importance of school spirit and fundraising for a good cause. What says school spirit at St. George’s School more than a dog-friendly event? Rain or shine, it promises to be the ultimate Dog Show of the Junior School! So help your sons mark their calendars, cast their votes, and determine who will claim the title of the Most Festive Junior School Dog. Their support will make this event paw-sitively unforgettable! 🐾

Hamper Drive Reminders

The deadline is quickly approaching — Wednesday, December 11th — and we need your help to ensure our Hamper Drive creates joy and will support families across the Lower Mainland. Join us in helping your sons as they take part in these three meaningful pillars of our campaign:

🥫 Non-Perishable Food Items
All students in Kindergarten-Grade 7 are asked to donate non-perishable food items to help fill their class hampers, with each Homeroom responsible for preparing two hampers. Every single item counts in creating balanced, abundant hampers that will make a real difference for families who need extra support over the holidays.

🎁 Toy Mountain
Students in Kindergarten, Grades 2, 4, and 6 are invited to donate new, gender-neutral toys (non-battery operated and non-rechargeable) suitable for children ages 0–8. Each toy adds to our growing Toy Mountain in the front foyer, bringing smiles to young faces this holiday season. Toys should not be pre-wrapped as gift wrapping will be organized at school later in December.

📚 Seasonal Readings
Students in Grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 are encouraged to donate new picture books for children ages 0–8. Place your book donations in the wrapped bins at the front, and your son will receive an “I donated” sticker as a symbol of his generosity. Books should not be pre-wrapped, as wrapping will be done at school to add a personal touch.

Let’s finish strong, St. George’s community! Together, we can make this Hamper Drive a powerful demonstration of generosity and kindness. All donations must be delivered to your son’s Homeroom or the collection bins by Wednesday, December 11th.

Let’s grow our Toy Mountain, expand our Seasonal Readings, and ensure equity across our hampers. Thank you for supporting this incredible tradition!
