April Parent-Teacher Learning Conferences
Virtual Learning Conferences will take place on
April 7th, 8th, and 9th from 4:00–8:00 pm. We are prioritizing these conferences for students who may need mid-year interventions or follow-up on previous feedback. The conferences are also an opportunity for teachers and families to connect on new information. Please keep this in mind when you consider requesting meetings, particularly as we often have more requests than available appointments.
Additional Considerations:- Students are warmly invited to participate in the conversations, and should simply join their parent/guardian at the scheduled appointments.
- These appointments are for classroom-based conversations. Please only book appointments with teachers your child has this year, and not for other purposes (i.e. Personal Counselling, Head of Grade, University Counselling, etc).
Accessing The Booking Site: - Sign-up is available from March 11th at 10:00 am–March 13th at 4:00 pm via the "School Appointments" button on the School Portal or the direct link HERE.
- Families are permitted to book up to four appointment slots per child.
- Appointments are for eight-minute slots. All appointments will be virtual.
- Teachers are available for a range of times to work around their co-curriculars and other commitments. Please check their individual calendars.
You will see your schedule live as you book appointments. In addition, you will receive a reminder email with your schedule in the afternoon of April 2nd via the email address you provided us. Please look for an email from
[email protected] with the following subject line: “School Appointments Reminder Email.”
2026 Blackathon
On February 27th, St. George's School sent six students to compete in the Annual Blackathon at the Microsoft Office, an event that blends historical enlightenment with contemporary innovation. All 150+ attending students from high schools across Metro Vancouver were tasked with creating a revitalized space for Hogan's Alley that served the community and reflected the historical figure Viva "Vie" Moore's mission for comfort and connection.
The students’ community centre proposal, Above The Plate, focused on creating a multi-generational community, including a restaurant that reflected Vie's former restaurant in Hogan's Alley. The students received first place after three rounds of judging and a final presentation pitch. Congratulations to the St. George's Team Atlanthos 2 for their first-place win, and to all teams for their engagement, creativity, and teamwork!
