Our Hockey Teams were also in action, highlighted by the U18 Prep Team who won the Robertson Invitational last week at Shawnigan Lake School. Great work!

Rowing
Rowers will remain in training throughout the Winter Term with their next event being the Beat The Beast Indoor Erg Competition, taking place January 31st–February 1st.

Beat The Beast is the signature Indoor Rowing Competition of St. George’s Rowing, which traditionally takes place in February. Hundreds of rowers from across BC convene at our Dixon Gym to compete in a variety of races. The most competitive athletes from 2,000 m races progress to Sprint Showdowns, a series of 500m sprints at the end of the day, and there are team relays. At the end of racing, two championships will be awarded to the team with the most overall points and the most efficiency — an exciting team component to this regatta!

We'd love to welcome as much of the St. George's community as possible. While most of our boys will have the bulk of their racing from 10:00 am–1:00 pm, the most exciting races will take place from 2:00–3:30pm.

Come out, wear Saints colours, and feel the excitement of this unique event!
