Financial Aid

  • Alan and Madge Brown Legacy Fund: The purpose of this fund shall be to provide financial support to students entering Grades 8, 9, and 10 who have demonstrated and documented financial need, and who without the support of this fund, would be unable to attend St. George's School.

  • Atkinson Legacy Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals who possess the ability to enrich the life of the School and who, without the Atkinson Legacy Fund, would not be able to experience an 'independent' St. George's School education.

  • Auxiliary Endowment Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide awards to students who demonstrate great promise in academics and extracurricular endeavours, or to a student whose support of St. George's School has been most generous and encouraging in the development of a strong sense of community.

  • Class of 2002 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to support the school and its highest priority needs.

  • Class of 2003 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to support the school and its highest priority needs.

  • Class of 2004 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to support the school and its highest priority needs.

  • Class of 2010 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries (need-based financial aid) to students (both entering and continuing) at St. George's School in Grades 8 through 12 who, without financial assistance, would not be able to enjoy the benefits of a St. George's education. In addition to proving financial need, the candidate(s) must demonstrate strong academic ability and willingness to contribute to the school community.

  • Class of 2011 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries (need-based financial aid) to students (both entering and continuing) at St. George's School in Grades 8 through 12 who, without financial assistance, would not be able to enjoy the benefits of a St. George's education. In addition to proving financial need, the candidate(s) must demonstrate his ability to contribute as an all-around student at the school.

  • Class of 2012 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries (need-based financial aid) to students (both entering and continuing) at St. George's School in Grades 8 through 12 who, without financial assistance, would not be able to enjoy the benefits of a St. George's education. In addition to proving financial need, the candidate(s) must demonstrate his ability to contribute as an all-around student at the school.

  • Class of 2013 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries (need-based financial aid) to students (both entering and continuing) at St. George’s School in Grades 8 through 12 who, without financial assistance, would not be able to enjoy the benefits of a St. George’s education. In addition to proving financial need, the candidate(s) must demonstrate his ability to contribute as an all-around student at the school.

  • Class of 2014 Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries (need-based financial aid) to students (both entering and continuing) at St. George's School in Grades 8 through 12 who, without financial assistance, would not be able to enjoy the benefits of a St. George's education. In addition to proving financial need, the candidate(s) must demonstrate his ability to contribute as an all-around student at the school.

  • Craddock Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships and bursaries to students of St. George's School to recognize exemplary effort in all aspects of the programs of St. George's School.
  • Dales Family Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries for deserving student who show excellent all round potential in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • David Chow '03 and Jack Chau '09 Endowment Fund: The purpose of this fund is to establish bursaries for deserving students entering the Senior School who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education. This fund also supports research in boys learning, including, but not limited to, supporting visiting Chairs who are recognized for their work in boys education and providing professional development opportunities that engage the School's faculty in projects related to boys' education.

  • Dr. Thomas Cheung Scholarship Fund: The purpose of this fund is to establish scholarships for deserving students who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • Friends of St. George's School: The purpose of this fund is to provide a non-repayable grant to a new student entering Grade 6 or above at St. George's School who, in addition to demonstrating financial need, has, in the opinion of the Selection Committee, shown evidence of strong academic and athletic achievement, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership abilities.

  • General Endowment Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships and bursaries and for such other educational purposes as may be determined by the Foundation in consultation with the Headmaster and the Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the School from time to time.

  • Georgian Scholarships & Bursary Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships and bursaries to students of St. George's School.

  • Jake Kerr Family Fund: The purpose of this fund is to encourage and facilitate new students to attend St. George's who, without this financial support, would otherwise be unable to join the School. Eligible students include those applying for Grades 8, 9, or 10. The student must satisfy the admissions criteria for the School; have performed with distinction in various athletic endeavours; and display leadership qualities in team sports and community activities.

  • John Harker Memorial Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships and bursaries to deserving students at St. George's School.

  • John S. Clyne '84 Memorial Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide financial aid. All students of the school who qualify for financial aid are eligible for these grants.

  • Kin Wah Leung Family Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for deserving students entering Grades 8, 9, or 10 who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • King Family Scholarship Fund: The purpose of this fund is to establish scholarships for deserving students who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • Memorial Bursary Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide financial aid to qualified students in Grades 8 to 12 with demonstrated need, as defined by the School in its screening process. Such aid may be renewed annually subject to continuing need.

  • Nigel R.L. Toy Scholarship Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to new students entering Grades 8, 9, and 10 who: have high academic standing (honours minimum); demonstrated athletic accomplishment; a record of community service; and require some financial assistance to attend St. George's School.

  • Norman Chandler Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships and bursaries to students of St. George's School.

  • Randy Sung Memorial Scholarship: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship to a student who shows true passion and commitment, two qualities that exemplified Randy and for which he was admired.

  • Bob Bacon Memorial Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide assistance to young men who show excellent all-round abilities in academic, athletic and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's education.

  • Stephen L.M. Hutchison Fund for Fine Arts: The purpose of this fund is to establish a bursary for a student entering St. George's School in Grade 8 with an active and demonstrated interest in fine art. This bursary would be renewable annually for the tenure of the student at St. George's School as long as the student fulfills his academic commitment at St. George's School.

  • The Directors Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships, bursaries, or awards to students of St. George's School deemed deserving and appropriate by the Headmaster. To allow the past, present, and future Directors of the St. George's School Society, Trustees of the St. George's School Foundation, Executive of the St. George's School Auxiliary, and Executive of the St. George's School Old Boys' Association to demonstrate their leadership and support in the area of scholarships and bursaries and to work together for that common goal.

  • The Jarvis Family Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries for academically qualified students entering Grades 8 or 9 who demonstrate ability in and passion for athletic, artistic, and/or leadership pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience and benefit from a St. George's School education. Paramount in the consideration of recipients of these funds should be the School's aim and tradition of developing the "Well-Rounded Boy".

  • The Jung Family Scholarship Fund: The purpose of this fund is to establish scholarships for deserving students entering Grades 8, 9, or 10 who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • The London Drugs Endowed Bursary Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries for deserving students who demonstrate excellent all-round abilities and/or potential in academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education.

  • The Parmar Family Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide bursaries for deserving students who show excellent all-round abilities in academic, athletic and artistic pursuits, and who, without financial support, would not be able to participate in an education at St. George's School.

  • The Gibbins Scholarship Fund: The purpose of this fund is to provide financial aid for deserving students entering the Senior School into the Boarding program, who show excellent all round abilities in academic, athletic and artistic pursuits and who, without financial support, would not be able to experience a St. George's School education and the Boarding program. Recipients of the funding should be both Canadian citizens and Canadian residents. It is the intent of the donor in establishing this Fund that it will help to support a diverse, global perspective throughout the School, and will aid in recognizing that a strong Boarding community is central to St. George's continued goal of graduating future world-class leaders.
