Rowing

Beat The Beast
Experience the raw intensity of the Lower Mainland’s Premier Indoor Rowing Event, 2026 Beat The Beast, on Saturday, January 31st at the St. George’s Senior School Campus. This competition brings together elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts for a series of high-stake 2000m individual sprints, culminating in explosive, fast-paced team relays at the end of the day.

We invite the public to come down to the gymnasium (entry via Door C) to witness the grit of the region’s toughest competitors and fuel the high-stakes atmosphere. It is a perfect opportunity to experience the power of the local rowing community firsthand, cheer on your favourite athletes, and see who has the drive to walk away with this year's winners' shirts.

Curling
Our Curling Team is off to compete at the Curling ZONE / Regionals on Monday, January 26th at the Vancouver Curling Club (attached to Hillcrest Community Centre). They will face Van Tech in a best-of-three showdown, with the winner advancing to Provincials in Chilliwack from February 18th to February 21st. Best of luck to our curlers in their first major event of the winter!

Snow Sports
Our Ski and Snowboarders just got back from a race meet at Blackcomb last week. This race kick started their 2026 campaign. Stay tuned for further race meets and results as the cooler months progress.
