SoccerThe Senior Soccer Team recently faced Vancouver College in a pair of intense rivalry matches, with a spot at provincials on the line. Depending on the outcome of the final game, the boys may need to compete in Sea to Sky qualifiers to secure their provincial berth. With the seasons wrapping up for the 2nd XI and Grade 10 squads, the teams are looking forward to a friendly matchup next week to close out their campaigns on a strong and positive note.
SwimmingThe Swim Team continues to put in the work day after day, focusing on improving both their technique and times as the season nears its close. The commitment and determination shown in the pool have been impressive, with swimmers pushing each other to reach new personal bests and elevate the overall standard of the program. As the season wraps up, the boys are gearing up for the end-of-season time trials on October 30th, where they’ll have the opportunity to test their progress and compete against their own best times. It’s a great chance to showcase the hard work, dedication, and growth they’ve achieved throughout the term. Best of luck to all our swimmers as they dive into another challenge.
Cross Country After a string of strong performances at league meets and zones, our runners are now setting their sights on the BC Championships on November 1st. The team has demonstrated exceptional dedication and steady improvement all season long, with each race showcasing faster times, sharper execution, and stronger finishes. Best of luck to our runners as they cap off a fantastic season!
VolleyballOur Volleyball Teams continue to train with focus and intensity, building on the progress they’ve made throughout the season. Practices have been filled with energy and commitment as players work to refine their skills, strengthen team chemistry, and elevate their overall level of play. The hard work being put in each day is setting a strong foundation for success in upcoming matches and future seasons.
RugbyThe Rugby Team recently had an exciting week as they hosted Crossley Heath School from England for a memorable exchange of both competition and camaraderie. The visit featured a great mix of billeting and match play, giving our players a chance to connect with their peers from overseas while sharing in the spirit of the game. It was an incredible cultural and sporting experience, highlighting rugby’s global reach and the community the sport fosters. Building on that momentum, the Grade 9 boys now turn their attention to a doubleheader against SMUS, starting with an away game on October 29th before returning home to host on October 30th. The team continues to train hard as they look forward to another set of competitive matches as they close out an exciting stretch of rugby.
