Recap Of The 2025
Vancouver Model United Nations Conference

Please enjoy the 2025 VMUN videos, expertly produced by Television Production Rigg Scholars Ivan S. ’25 and Isaac L. ’25. Created over four days and three nights of dedicated effort, the Opening and Closing videos capture the dynamic energy and spirit of Vancouver’s largest student-run Model UN.

Since joining the Television Production Program (TVP) in Grade 10, Ivan and Isaac have built an impressive portfolio and have since created a wide body of work from the showcase videos featured here to music videos as well as narrative films. Special thanks to Mr. Wes Boise and Mr. Travis Bortolotto for their invaluable guidance and support in fostering the students' skills so they could create this amazing work.

Saints Players Theatre Company Presents: The NeverEnding Story

~ April 10–20 At 7:00 PM ~

This is the second article in our ongoing series covering The Saints Players Theatre Company's upcoming production of The NeverEnding Story. In this installment, we are delighted to highlight the incredible dedication and teamwork demonstrated by the cast.

Show Director Ms. Kennedy and Saints Players’ liaison and coach Mr. Donnici have expressed immense pride in the entire ensemble and would like to particularly commend Raymond C. '29 (Atreyu) and Essi M. '29 (Bastian) for their exceptional commitment. Both actors have shown remarkable dedication in memorizing their lines, and this well-deserved recognition may inspire others to do the same.

Sean L. '27, who plays the antagonist (Gmork) has also demonstrated an impressive level of commitment. His performance provides a striking contrast to the two protagonists, adding depth and intensity to the production.

Additionally, Brian D. '27 (Morla) and Mattias C. '28 (Bastian’s Father) have distinguished themselves as outstanding mentors, offering guidance through their professionalism, courteous demeanour, and willingness to explore creative possibilities during rehearsals. Their leadership enriches the entire production process.

A special acknowledgement also goes to JJ M. '28 (Artax), whose expertise and experience with the Grade 8 actors have been invaluable. His ability to share knowledge with humility and humour fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

For those seeking a beacon of optimism and energy, look no further than Jacob T. '27 (Falkor). His portrayal of Falkor embodies the spirit of resilience and encouragement, uplifting everyone involved in the production. His enthusiasm serves as a powerful motivator, ensuring that the cast continues to push forward with determination and joy.

Overall, the team is incredibly proud of the actors and the strong sense of unity they have cultivated. Their dedication, hard work, and teamwork are truly bringing The NeverEnding Story to life in a remarkable way!
