Senior School Updates — December 20, 2024

Save The Dates For 2025-26 Course Planning

It is not even 2025 yet. However, as the calendar changes, it’s natural for our Grade 8–11 students to begin to think about not only the new year but also the next school year. We are very excited about our academic offerings for 2025-26 and are looking forward to working with our families to find the best fit for each one of our students. To support that end goal, we have three pillars in our planning:

Grade-Specific Information Presentations For Parents & Students
  • Current Grade 8s and 9s will have recorded presentations shared with them on January 21st.
  • Current Grade 10s and 11s are invited to attend an in-person (and video recorded) Course Planning Evening on January 28th at the Senior School.
  • An Academic Handbook, which contains course descriptions, details about graduation requirements, academic policies, course change dates, etc. (February) Individualized Course Planning Meetings with our St George’s University Counsellors. (Throughout Term 2 and 3 for students entering Grades 11 and 12)
More information on dates and resources will be shared on January 21st in emails, providing the full list of Course Planning Events.

We look forward to connecting with you!

Student Schedules For January 2025

With the impending addition of the two new academic buildings, several of the assigned classrooms that your child currently attends class will change. Please have your child check the School Portal on January 13th at noon for their updated schedule. There will be no changes to their scheduled courses, just the locations in which they take place.
