After Saints, I moved to Boston and completed my psychology degree at Harvard in 2006. From there, I moved to Toronto to join security services firm Guardsmark, LLC where I remained until late 2010, with a year-long sabbatical in between to pick up an MBA from Saïd Business School at Oxford. After I left Guardsmark I spent just under three years at Sears Canada first as the leader of a small business-to-business division and then as part of a five-member Transformation and Merchant Operations team working to improve operational effectiveness throughout the company. In October 2013 I left Sears and packed up back to the west coast for a new role at Google in Mountain View, California where I currently work as Lead Partner Operations Manager on the Google Shopping team.
Having had a somewhat non-traditional career path so far, it's been important to me to have a broad base of mentors on whom I could rely on as guides, advisors, and sounding boards for ranting. To whatever extent I can do so, I'd be more than happy to serve in such a role for a couple of recent Georgians unfortunate enough to get stuck with me!
