In September 2015, the School engaged the architectural firm Perkins+Will to review the Senior School campus master planning work and assist in addressing a number of issues that were brought forward by the City of Vancouver staff, Urban Design Panel and neighbours. The hope was that in addressing the issues Perkins+Will could further strengthen the experience for students. This includes improved navigation, circulation, arrival sequencing, interactions between spaces and sustainability initiatives. A number of modifications are being considered and the School’s Board of Directors hopes to receive a modified plan for consideration in June 2016. The revised plan will then be shared more broadly with the City of Vancouver and the neighbouring community.
