Current Responsibilities
As a member of the Vancouver, BC JLL team, Mr. MacDonald works with tenants and landlords on all kinds of leasing and sale transactions. His extensive knowledge of market characteristics and trends throughout Metro Vancouver allows his team to find optimal and creative solutions for each client’s unique requirement. Mr. MacDonald’s familiarity with the correlation between rapid transit networks and commercial real estate markets has also proven to be a valuable resource for landlords, developers, institutional investors and tenants alike.
Mr. MacDonald joined JLL shortly after they entered the Vancouver market in January 2011. He established the Western Canada Research team and was responsible for all research and market analysis relating to the Metro Vancouver and Greater Calgary markets. He was very active in transactional work during this time and his clients range from startups to Fortune 500 companies, many of which are related to the technology and film industries. His extensive market knowledge combined with an understanding of landlord and tenant needs adds significant value and results in successful solutions for clients.  

Education and Affiliations
Mr. MacDonald attended St. George’s Secondary School in Vancouver and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec with a double major in English and Sociology. He has since completed the Canadian Securities Course in addition to various Real Estate courses at the Sauder School of Business at UBC.
