Other teams: up to 10 other schools
Signup: see the Google Doc emailed by Mr. Jones
Volunteers: 1 lane of timers all day (3 parents at a time), photographers. Parents who are able to volunteer may be able to get a ride on our bus/busses if seats are available.
Events: Relays only, a very fun and team-orientated competition. Mr. Jones will select teams and events once all boys have signed up.
Team gear: All St. George's team gear required including, team suit, team cap, team t-shirt, and Saints tracksuit. Gear is available at the school store. Please only wear your t-shirt and tracksuit for the day. No non-Saints pants/hoodies/etc. No club gear. No exceptions please.
Food: Please bring healthy snacks and drinks in plastic containers, and your lunch. If you are on the hot lunch program, you must provide your own lunch for today. It will be better for you as it will be the amount and type of food that you prefer to help you swim fast.
Travel: Team will travel by school bus(es) to the meet. Boys must travel to and from the meet on the buses, unless they are a resident of Richmond. We CANNOT allow boys to depart from the pool except for Richmond residents that request in advance. It becomes difficult to track the boys resulting in delays, as well our busses are booked on expected #s. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with the safe coordination of many boys.
Other Info: Parents are welcome to attend and watch. Please note, parents must remain at the far shallow end of the pool unless officially volunteering. In other words, NO PARENTS in the Team Area or the Marshalling Area. Due to deck space, the high number of spectators (from all schools) makes organization of the swimmers a challenge. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this area.
