Scott was very fortunate to have attended St. George’s as a boarder for all four years of high school, with an enjoyable semester as an exchange student at Upper Canada College in Toronto. He matriculated to Washington State University where he earned a BS in Biology and a Minor in Leadership Communications.

After working various service industry positions over the course of three years in Greensboro NC, Seattle WA and Atlanta GA he reentered academia to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Pharmacy. Soon after graduating, he began his career in the pharmaceutical industry in Chicago where he held positions of growing responsibility.

Growing tired of the cold, he relocated his family to Southern California to continue his pursuit of small-size, entrepreneurial biopharmaceutical companies; most recently as the Migraine Medical Lead at Avanir (Aliso Viejo, CA) and now the Director of Medical Communications at Neurocrine (Del Mar, CA).

He would of course be extremely happy to work with any Georgians of any background and professional inclination, but he might be particularly helpful for someone interested in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
