School Store

The stores are open for students who are already signed in to the buildings by knocking on the door. We have limited capacity so there may be a wait. However, we will do our best.

For parents who need to access the stores, we are booking appointments. Please phone for an appointment.

Food Services

Variety, nutrition, and balance are the criteria that Sodexo — the St. George’s food services contractor — embraces to ensure students’ nutritional needs are met. Our onsite red seal certified chefs have customized menus specifically for our St. George’s boys and community and prepare fresh, quality meals daily. Our menus run on 3-week cycles that change every term and feature international as well as traditional local meals.

St. George’s School offers a variety of Food Service options to ensure that the nutritional needs of boarders, day students, employees, and guests are met. Offerings include a Hot Lunch Program at the senior campus, a Hot Lunch Program at the junior campus, a 7-day per week Boarding Student Meal Program, and the Senior School Saints Café kiosk (retail).

St. George’s School operates eight daily bus routes covering the Metro Vancouver area. All of the routes are under contract by Thirdwave Bus Services with the exception of the UBC route, which is operated by St. George’s School.

  • Allergies and Anyphalaxis

The School is nut-aware and makes every effort to minimize exposure to allergens at school. Students with a history of Anaphylaxis should be identified and carry an EpiPen injector at all times. The School provides teacher education and EpiPens at school to be used in case of an emergency.
  • Concussion Management

Student-athletes can suffer concussions during the school year while participating in sports and activities. Please report all concussions to Student Health and your son’ Head of Grade or homeroom teacher. Students suspected to have suffered a concussion or who have reported symptoms suggestive of a concussion, will be referred for a medical exam. When necessary, the nursing staff, athletic coaches or trainers will contact parents to make the referral or report the injury. If you are concerned your son may have suffered a concussion, please have him assessed by a doctor and inform Student Health.

All students diagnosed with a concussion will be considered off-games until cleared by the family or emergency physician and a medical clearance note is provided. While your son recovers, symptoms can interfere with school performance and limit participation in activities. Your son’s Head of Grade or homeroom teacher will be notified of these limitations and your son will be supported as needed. All students wanting to return to games will need to present a doctor’s note to Student Health, clearing them for play. The school follows Return to Play guidelines and a Return to Learn plan. Students who continue to report concussions or are observed to have ongoing concussion symptoms will be referred back to their doctor.

Health Services

Students who are unwell or require medical attention while on campus may report to the Nurse's Office. The Junior School Nurse's Office is located in Harker Hall and is staffed Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. At the Senior School, Ms. Bodutch, Head of Student Health, is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

If your son requires care beyond what the nurses can provide, parents will be contacted. Nurses refer to the medical information provided to the school, so please ensure this information is kept up-to-date by contacting Student Health. Please alert us to any new accommodations that must be made for school or games involvement.

Issues and concerns can be reported by phone at 604-221-3696 or email at
