Grade 8

In September, students participate in a Community Building Camp. By spring, they progress to their first overnight camping trip, called Navigate, where they learn how to pitch tents, cook over a stove, paddle and hike. Grade 8 is their preparation for expeditionary outdoor trips.

Grade 9

Students partake in Explorer, an exciting, week-long program in the fall that includes a four-day wilderness expedition. Grade 9s develop skills in a range of mountain and water-based activities that focus on low-impact camping practices. This is their first expedition-style outdoor trip.

Grade 10

In the Sea to Sky program, students undertake 5-day expeditions. Students can choose between sea kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing, and snowshoeing trips, making this an exciting and challenging opportunity. This trip focuses on leadership, challenge, and awareness.

Discovery 10

Discovery 10 is a cohort program that focuses on leadership development through outdoor experiences. Through a wide range of activities and locations, the program challenges boys–body, mind, and spirit–to become positive, contributing members of a group and build confidence.
