The Cross Country program is recognized as one of the top programs in the Province. Each year, the team sends athletes to compete at the BC High School Provincial Championships, which brings together the top high school runners in British Columbia. Training typically occurs twice a week after school, but additional practices may be scheduled throughout the season. The season consists of multiple races leading up to the Provincial championships, typically held in November. Although most races are held within the province, occasionally the team will have the opportunity to compete in races across North America, such as Washington, Oregon, or California. St. George's won back-to-back provincial championships in 2010 and 2011, and produced athletes that have competed at some of the top universities in both Canada and the United States.
