Nadeem Kassam is the founder and CEO of Connect the Doc, a digital referral platform for private healthcare providers. Prior to launching his startup in 2012, Nadeem completed his undergraduate degree at Whitman College, where he played Varsity tennis on a scholarship. In his first year at Whitman, Nadeem became the first person in 23 years to become an “All American” and the first in history to do so in tennis as a Freshman.

Nadeem graduated with a degree in economics where he focused on econometrics. Despite this degree, his work experience is in sales, digital marketing and business consulting. As the son of two dentists, Nadeem has helped his parents market their 3 practices since he was 12 years old. Upon graduating from university, Nadeem launched Connect the Doc with his twin brother, Nash, to help connect patients looking for immediate care with practitioners that have short notice availabilities. To date, Nadeem and his team have helped practice owners increase the value of their practices by more than $50,000,000.00 combined.

In the last 3 years, Nadeem has learned the ins and outs of building a tech company from scratch. He mentors entrepreneurs on running a “lean startup” and helps them prove “product market fit” before taking the next steps to scale.

Why I’d like to become a mentor:
St. George's is filled with talented students, many of which will become business owners and entrepreneurs. I’ve joined the mentorship program so that other Georgians can learn from the mistakes that I’ve made and lessons I’ve learned.
