After leaving Saints in 2007, I moved to the United Kingdom to study medicine at St. George’s, University of London. I completed my degree in 2012 and worked in the National Health Service as a House Officer for one year prior to obtaining a residency position in urology at the University of Toronto. Currently, I am part of the Clinician Investigator Program, pursuing a masters at the Institute of Medical Science. My research focus is in technical skill assessment in robotic surgery.
Why be a mentor?
Studying medicine overseas and susequently matching to a residency position in Canada is challenging, and I would love to be able to help Georgians who find themselves unsure of the steps required to accomplish this. Having recently navigated this process, I feel I have an understanding of what factors are important in maximizing the chance for success in being accepted into a Canadian residency program.
