Shan Parmar '03

Prior to founding Parmar Capital, Shan was the Director of New Ventures at BCAA, where he was responsible for the design, development, launch, and operation of Evo Car Share. Having successfully launched and grown Evo, Shan is excited to apply his strategy, finance, and operational expertise to a small-to-medium sized business.
 
Previously, Shan worked in Management Consulting with Accenture’s Strategy Practice in Toronto and in Investment Banking with Credit Suisse’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York. Shan holds an MBA from Yale University, an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. Shan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Rumble Theatre and is a member of the City of Vancouver's Active Transportation Policy Council.
 
Careers are not always a linear path. Shan was privileged to have the mentorship of many through his career. He's excited about the opportunity of discovery and learning it provides to both the mentor and the mentee.
