Grade 6

TRIP OVERVIEW
The Grade 6 outdoor education program includes two events over the course of the year. In January, students participate in a day of snowshoeing with their class on Mount Seymour. Students learn about winter travel, build snow forts and cook lunch outdoors. In late May, students travel to Loon Lake, near Maple Ridge. Here they take part in a variety of camp activities, including canoeing, kayaking, high ropes, low ropes, rock climbing, and team challenges.
