  • Admissions Open Houses

    Help the School's Admissions team welcome prospective Junior or Senior School families, and answer any questions they may have. (Training provided.)
    3-5 events/year (September-February)
  • Advancement Office Support

    From time to time, the Advancement Department looks for volunteers to help with calling fellow parents for support of the Annual Giving Campaign, at events, and with Georgian (Alumni) relations.
    As needed.
  • Art Room Support

    Assist the Art Department in hanging artwork and managing art supplies.
    Ongoing (monthly afternoon shift)
  • Assistance with Translation

    A volunteer pool with different language skills helps the school and the SGPA translate documents, from time to time, throughout the year.

  • Boy O Boy Speaker Series

    Assist the SGPA in coordination of BoyOBoy speaker series. Dates available year long.
  • Food Fest

    Each year parents are invited to a potluck luncheon as we celebrate different cultures. This festive occasion will be held at our Junior School.  

  • Grade Parents

    Deadline: May 31st each year

    Grade Parents form the social hub for each grade and the communications hub between the parents and the SGPA. They also organize the specific activities and events for parents and boys.

  • Grandparents Day

    All grandparents are invited to celebrate with their grandsons.
  • Holiday Decorating

    Come 'Deck the Halls' of the Junior and/or Senior School in early December and/or take decorations down just before the break.

  • Lost and Found

    Work as a team to help the school organize lost and found items.
    Ongoing (1-2 hours, twice per month)
  • Lunar New Year Tea

    Each year parents are invited to an afternoon of tea and Asian delicacies as we celebrate Lunar New Year. This festive occasion will be held at our Junior School.  
  • New Parents' Dinner

    A team of parent volunteers assists the Advancement Office with the setup and takedown of this lovely dinner, hosted to welcome new parents to the community.

  • Playground Supervision

    Help supervise students on the Primary playground during morning or lunch recess.

  • Senior School Athletic Banquet

    The Athletic Department hosts a banquet each year to honour athletes and recognize their accomplishments. A volunteer team helps to set up and decorate the school gym for this special event.
  • SGPA Board and Committees

    All St. George's School parents are members of the SGPA. For information regarding specific Board and Committee opportunites, please contact Paul Tilbury, SGPA President. (

  • St. George's School Fair

    The annual St. George's School Fair is the SGPA's largest fundraising event of the year. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to build community, make new friends, and work together to raise funds to enhance the school experience for our boys. Visit to learn more.

  • Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day

    Show your appreciation by contributing a dish to this annual day-long thank you buffet.
  • Used Uniform Committee

    Join the team that collects and sorts gently used blazers, uniform items, and athletic wear in preparation for monthly Used Uniform sales. Please contact Noreen Singh ( for more information.

  • Welcome Back BBQ

    Once again, the SGPA is pleased to invite all new and returning parents, faculty, staff, and their families to gather after the summer break and kick off the new school year at this casual BBQ. Over 50 volunteers are needed to assist at this event.
