Weekend Life

Weekends at an urban boarding school offer amazing opportunity to take advantage of all that the city has to offer. The wide range of cultural, outdoor, sporting, and city-based activities means that there is a lot to keep students busy.

All students are encouraged to take part in our active Weekend Activities Program. Each weekend, a minimum of two separate activities are offered. There is something for everyone with the wide range of options available.

Harker Hall offers programming from September to June with the exception of the December Break (3 weeks) and the Spring Break (2 weeks). There are three weekends where the residence is closed, but a weekend off-site program is offered. These trips include weekends in Tofino or Victoria (fall term break), skiing at Big White or Silver Star (February term break) and time in Whistler (May term break).
