Grade 7

Trip Overview

The Grade 7 Outdoor Education program includes two events over the course of the year. In October, students travel to Camp Stillwood, near Chilliwack. Here, they take part in a variety of camp activities, including high ropes, low ropes, rock climbing, archery, short hikes and team challenges.

This year, the Grade 7 program culminates with a day of voyageur canoeing in English Bay. This is the final program in a series which, for students who joined in Grade 1, started with a day-trip to the beach 6 years ago.

We hope that this activity will bring together many of the skills the students have developed through the years; teamwork, problem-solving, an appreciation for the natural world, self-propelled travel, “leave no trace”.

We think they’ll have fun too!
